DIY projects: finally got the supplies

So i just finished booking my major vendors so I get to have some fun with DIY decor for my wedding. Some of these Im probably doing out of order but I got so excited when I got to Michaels today. (ill try to add pics when I actually make them)

PROJECT #1 Mongram Letters: I got wooden letters in our intials and '&' sign and will paint them half pink and have glitter gold (my wedding colors). I was thinking of displaying them at the escort card table.

PROJECT #2 Escort cards: I got a gold frame that Im going to hang ribbon from and have the escort cards dangling from attached with a paper flower.


And I have a lot more I want to do..

Awesome, congrats!! Are you getting married in a Greek church?

Probably just pew bows with a few flowers in them. The church is so ornate that I dont really want to take away from it. And I want to do an aise runner lined with rose petals but I have to find out if they allow that.

Yes - church in Corona. I can't have runner with the pedals in the church? Hmm, will get the pew bows then - since we are having 200+ people....... gotta cut the costs somewhere. We were looking at Swan club but they couldn't accomidate our number of peeps.

Yea check with your church if they allow it... i dont remember if mine does. I know we are really cutting corners on who we invite. We are paying for this wedding ourselves. so its only aunts and uncles and first cousins and we are 150... ahhh

I hear you....I said 200 tops but now it looks like we are at 230....
We are also paying ourselves and I've been stressed out a lot since the MOG invited all her friends....while my side is only 50 people.... want to cry...and then it's a band... will you have a band?
