helium balloons + heat =deflate?

Does the heat make helium balloons deflate? I bought some yesterday for my SIL getting home from having her baby, and today they are already 1/2 to the floor!

No cold air makes them deflate. But they come right back when put in room temperature or heat.- they will deflate if there are pin holes- go outside if they dont come back- they are defective. ( I used to work in a party store for years before college)

Thanks, I think there must be holes--they are totally on the floor now.
