Re: How far in advance should the RSVP date be?
I would say you shoud be ok with the beginning of Sept. I am completely anal and would want to know early (to call those who haven't responded) so I would go for the end of August...but that's just me!! Good Luck!

Re: How far in advance should the RSVP date be?
First I would check with the caterers and see when they wantt a final head count, and make it two weeks earlier than that.If they are not asking for a head count, I would say 3 weeks prior to the wedding for your own sanity.

Re: How far in advance should the RSVP date be?
I had a ridiculous amount of out of towners, so I set my RSVP date 6 weeks ahead of the wedding & sent them out 3 months ahead.

Re: How far in advance should the RSVP date be?
my RSVP date was set for exactly one month before the wedding....it was easiest to figure out that way

Mine was for 7/1, but we still have a lot outstanding. And people cancelling when finding out exhusbands are going to be there. Ugghhh...don't get me started! Don't even get me started!

Re: How far in advance should the RSVP date be?
my RSVP is October 1st... a little over a month in advance...we chose that date b/c that will be our 5 yr anniversary together so I thought it was a cute idea...
