Larkfield Manor Brides
Are any of you going to the New Years Eve Party? We are going with a bunch of people. I think it would be really fun. This way at least I will be able to enjoy the food since I probably wont eat anything on my wedding day!!

We're not going to the NYE party, I don't really want to spend the $$$.We do have our tasting that week though, and I'm going to someone elses wedding at the Larkfield in July, so I'll have a lot of opportunities to eat the food.
I'd be curious to find out what you think after the NYE party though!

Re: Larkfield Manor Brides
If I lived in NY I would actually try to go. My mom was telling me the other day that if Larkfield had a restaurant she'd drive the 30 min to get some of their food. For the tasting my dad and MIL complained the whole way there saying it's too far for people to drive. When the food came, they said it was worth the drive. The food was soooo good. Guests still rave about it.
FM me if you ever have questions.

I would do the same thing! I think thats why we want to go for New Years. As much as Larkfield isnt 100% what I was looking for in a reception hall, the food is AMAZING there and I cant wait to get married there!
My dad did the same thing with the distance, until we did the tasting!! hehe

I felt the same way...but recently I've had some problems not getting my phone calls returned. I finally gave up and made FH call. Of course his call got returned, which I really don't understand, shouldn't they do anything to make the bride happy?
Great pics-we're getting married in that room too. I have a whole bunch of pics, but didn't scan them. I have a great one of the main room with chandelier and the sweetheart table. I also have a nice one of the entrance way. I'll scan them tomorrow if you guys want to see them.

Id love to see the pics! Sorry to hear about Frank not returning your calls! If that happens to me I am just going to have to send my FH there to straighten him out LOL
My one concern with the room, now that I see it again, is that I think the table FH and I are going to be sitting at is really small. I kinda want a bigger one. Do you think they would have another one? Also, the linens on the cake table set up had FLOWERS on them... I am going to talk to Frank about that. I am not too crazy about the colors lol
(eeekkk... bridezilla is coming out!!)

I didn't pay that close attention to a lot of those details. I'll check out the cake table when we go for our tasting. But I'm sure that we can change...I remember Frank saying that we have the choice of our linen colors and we'd pick them about a month before the wedding (or am I going crazy?). I don't remember the chairs looking like that? Maybe they don't photograph well, and look better in person.
Don't worry, I don't think that was bridezilla-esque at all.
I'll post the pics tomorrow.

Re: Larkfield Manor Brides
Thanks! I look forward to seeing them. Frank did say we have a choice of the colors. Maybe those chairs were just in there for the set up. (i hope!) They are kinda ... umm... unattractive lol!If anything, Ill bring my own!
Enjoy your food tasting! we had a great time at ours!
