Re: memory candle please please help!

here are the instructins that i had posted in my review:

Memory Candles:
I purchased the pillar candles from Michaels (which did end up leaking everywhere) and used vellum from either Michaels or Staples. When you buy your vellum make sure you check which printer it works best with. The first time I bought the laserjet ones, and I have an inkjet and the ink rubbed right off onto my hand. I printed my design onto the vellum, cut the vellum down, then wrapped it around the candle and attached it with double stick tape, then took out the handy glue gun to glue ribbon to the edge of the vellum on both the top and the bottom.

I saw these in yoru review... they are beautiful... I am doing two different ones and I wanted the sayings to be different . the one I got from Octoberbliss was

Your life was a blessing your memory a treasure... You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure

I need another little poem like this

Re: memory candle please please help!

This is the candle we made in memory of my daughter's DH's mom. We purchased the candle at Michael's along with a round glass vase that the candle fit into so the wax wouldn't leak and then decorated the glass.
The poem says 'This light shines for my Mother (name) Who is in our hearts on our wedding day and always. To bless us in spirit as we begin our new life together'

Re: memory candle please please help! Update: found website see below.

I made my memory table also and it was the hardest thing I had to do when planning my wedding.

I bought a box of clear 8.5 x 11 labels from Staples. This is what I used for the candles.

I decorated the candles depending on personality. My grandfather loved the water so I included shells. My FH grandparents I decorated pretty.

I found the poem from this website (another helpful bride)....

We thought of you with love today
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence
We often speak your name
Now all we have is memories
And a picture in frame
Your memory is our keepsake
With which we’ll never part
God has you in his keeping
We have you in our hearts

HTH

BUMP....HTH

this is so beautiful...I love the idea of the pictures with the candles. I found some more poems and got the supplies at Michaels last night. I was thinking of doing all four grandparents wedding pictures in frames near the candles.

thanks for all the ideas!!!! I will post pics when I am finished!
