NWR - How long to cook steaks on George Foreman grill?

I decided to try out my new George Foreman grill tonight. How long should I set the timer for for shell steak?

if they are not frozen they cook sooooooooooooooo fast...i just got one too, i have been using it every nite. but one thing i noticed with the steaks, is they keep on cooking after u take them off the grill...so for me it was very well done when i like it very rare, but still tasty!

With the Geogre Forman grill you have to keep an eye on the grill, it cooks very fast. If you cook chicken on it, you really need to keep a close watch on the grill because if you don't it will over cook and dry out your chicken. I've had my grill for about 9 years now and I love it. It takes only a matter of minutes to cook.

The little book has a list of cooking times for different things.

I love my new grill that you can set the temperature and the timer!!!

i LOVE my george!! but, i actually don't like it so much for steak... i think steak is supposed to be slow cooked to keep all the juices in, and the george just cooks it too fast... i like to use the regular grill for steaks, and the george for everything else ( chicken, burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, etc)

Thanks! I sprinkled them with adobo and some sazon and set the timer for 5. I think next time I'll set the timer a little shorter because they were a little well done for me but they came out okay for a quick dinner

I cooked a Porthouse Steak to Medium in 8 minutes flat!
