Official 30 Day Shred Thread

So after my first work out with Ms. Michaels I was inspired to make an official thread for all of us who are shredding it up. I thought it would be fun to post before and after pictures too. Do you really think anyone has ever lost 20 pounds in 30 days? lol.My b-pics are in roughly 30 days so this is probably a good time to start. I was very impressed with the workout, I feel like every muscle in my body was used! My b-pics are in roughly 30 days so this is probably a good time to start. I thought this thread would also be useful for anyone who needs motivation to keep going. Well, here goes nothin' :)

Here is my before, lets hope in 30 days I am as toned as Jillian.

Sorry if I look drunk, FH took me by surprise in between waking up and getting dressed haha

30 Day shred is Jillian Michael's (from the biggest loser) latest workout DVD. It has 3 different level 20 minute works out that include strength, cardio and abs! Definitely fantastic!!

Hey Steph I think this is a great idea. I'll definetly join you. I have the DVD at home but I've only done it twice, I need some motivation and this could be it. I can't post a pic right now because I'm at work, but I will.

I seriously LOVE this dvd so far. I have been doing Level 1 for 4 days and was hoping to go onto level 2 within a day or so..... Is Level 2 as intense and if not more in cardio workout? I was waiting on getting into Level 2 because I didnt think I was ready bc I am sweating and sort of out of breath with Level 1 lol

But thats a good thing- I know I'm actually working my butt off hahah

I did shred for the first time tonight and it was tough. I thought it would be easy, being that I regularly work out and take classes at the gym. It kicked my hiney (literally)

go slow- stay with level one until your comfortable to go to level two. I bought five pound weights which I feel are kinda heavy at first. I wish I would have started with 3 pounders. I am on week 3/level 2 (not consistently) and I am getting use to it. Not soar anymore

I just finished day one of the 30 day shred video and I am already in pain. It is only 20 minutes but you are literally moving for the entire 20 minutes. I am afraid to wake up tomorrow and not be able to move. Hopefully, I will be ok and ready for day 2 of the work out!
