Signature drink!!!!! LadyP & Chachou be sure to read this one

I had a drink last night called Purple Rain. I have no idea of the amount of each liquor but I did write down the ingredients. Warning - it is SUPER strong. I sent it back to the bar to be toned down.

Of course, it's purple.

chambord
hypnotiq
barcardi o
coconut rum
cranberry juice

I had some purple drink at Breezes Bahamas too that was purple and not as strong. But I had too many of them to recall what's in it (and I had no pen/paper) in my bikini at the time.

Purple Rain recipe

Scale ingredients to servings
1 1/2 oz Gin
Cranberry Juice
1 splash Blue Curacao
1 splash Sweet and Sour Mix
1 splash Soda Water

Pour gin into an ice-filled highball glass, and fill with cranberry juice. Add blue curacao, sour mix and soda. Shake gently, add more curacao (until royal-purple), and serve.Serve in:

Awesome! I was looking for a purple drink recipe since that bar at my hall doesn't stock chambord!

Purple Passion
1 1/4 oz Vodka
3/4 oz Triple Sec
1 splash Grape Juice
1 splash Cranberry Juice

or
Cherry Kiafa
Vodka
OJ


Purple Hooter
Scale ingredients to servings
1/2 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Chambord Raspberry Liqueur
1 splash 7-Up


Purple MotherF'er
1/2 oz Blue Curacao
1/2 oz Southern Comfort
1/2 oz Amaretto Almond Liqueur
1 part Cranberry Juice

No, they probably won't. But if you tell the bartender what's in the drink they can typically make it.
