Girls I know I'm pushing it...
Okay I just got off the phone with the guy who is making my leather wedding dress. I soooo love his work! I started talking about how I wanted it to be a little bit more custom for me and if he could make sure that if fit me just right and if it would be a little different looking. I told him the look I was going for and he told me to look at this pic. To be 100% honest that is what I really truely wanted. but I know its very very relvealng, BUT I LOVE IT!
Okay this will be BLACK asnd no I won't have horns. I was thinking about tying the front a little more.

Re: Girls I know I'm pushing it...
If you love it, then that is all that matters. IMHO, I think you could find something a little less revealing. However, it is perfect for your theme.

What if you had black panel inserts where the lace ups are. kinda like corset back gowns have. Especially in the front.

If you are comfortable wearing it, then more power to ya.
Are you going to wear the headband with the two horns?

Re: Girls I know I'm pushing it...
its up to you. I know its what you want, so go for it. I do feel the picture is implying that its more for holloween (hence the devil ears) but I'm sure you could style it up. Is it short or long. I thing long, like a gown, would offset the corset a bit and create more of a wedding look. Good LUck

Re: Girls I know I'm pushing it...
I guess if your FH doesn't mind sharing and you don't have a problem with it than you don't need anyone elses opinion-you love it so wear it.
If you want an opinion about whether or not that is appropriate to wear at a wedding - than I would have to say no-it is not.

Re: Girls I know I'm pushing it...
I think it goes with your theme..however I do think the same look can look a bit more tasteful. Please don't take it the wrong way, but It's a bit cheap looking.
JMO...do whatever you feel more comfortable with!!!
Good Luck!!!

Re: Girls I know I'm pushing it...
Will it be white? JMO it really should fit and not have spaces between the pieces showing skn because it looks like you are too big for it.
Good luck

Re: Girls I know I'm pushing it...
is it my taste no....is it your taste...absolutely.....youa re the one that is going to be looking back on your day and you pictures....make it the day of your dreams. if you feel it might be a bit to revealing see if they can give the front a little bit more coverage..like come a bit more to the center. but..
YOUR DAY...YOUR WAY!

Re: Girls I know I'm pushing it...
i think its your day and you should be able to wear whatever you want. If you do end up thinking it reveals too much inbetween you can always have a layer of material put underneath the corset area where it ties up. What color are you getting?

Re: Girls I know I'm pushing it...
Bonnie, if you LOVE IT, that is all that matters. If you think it will be a little too revealing, I'm sure you and the guy that is making it, can come up with some way to make it a little less so, without diminishing the look you are going for.

I don't think is a picture of emberlynn in the dress - I think its someone else.
Even if it is - lord knows I tried on dresses that wouldn't even fit over my hips. It just needs to be altered.
If thats the look you want then go for it!

Re: Girls I know I'm pushing it...
IMO, I think you are trying too hard to push your theme. I like a lot of the things you are doing, but to me, this is over the top.
The way I look at it is: I'm a devout Catholic, but I'm not hanging rosary beads around my neck, on my bouqet, and wearing earings with the crucifix. Nor am I flaunting my religion. Some things are just a bit too much. Again, this is my opinion.

Re: Girls I know I'm pushing it...
If thats what you want then go for it! If you are concerned about being to risque what about having lace in the gaps? were'nt you talking about adding lace to the cloak?
I've seen some white wedding gowns that revealed more than this.
You need to be happy!
and ignore the few negative/rude comments!
