PLease Say a prayer!! UPDATEMy moms friends daughter is six months pregnant with twins. She started having contractions the other day. She went into the hospital and they stopped the contractions, but unfortunately her water broke and she lost one of the twins. The other baby is still in there, but now that the water broke they are worried that infection may set in and she could lose the other baby. Message edited 12/4/2003 11:18:37 PM. | |||

Re: PLease Say a prayer!! UPDATESadly the doctors had to deliver the babies today at 26 weeks because of infection. The one baby, Emma Rose died, and the other baby, Kate Ann is still hanging on. She is only 1.6 ounces. She is however responding very well and the doctors are optimistic. Sadly, they now have to plan a burial for the baby that died. They are treating the mother now too for infection. So please say a prayer for mom and both her babies. I could not imagine having to go through something like this ever.
