Wedding Video Songs - need HELP!!!

HELP!!!!

I am tossing a few songs around for the video. I need a song for:
1. baby pictures
2. couple pictures
3. Starting ceremony
4 Recap - we're using our wedding song
5. Honeymoon - a song we heard everyday on our honeymoon - Angel by Shaggy

I am thinking about "I am you child" by Barry M. for baby pictures, "To the aisle" for couple picutes and "St. Elmo's Fire" for starting. Any other songs?????

Please HELP with any suggestions - I truly appreciated it

I noticed that you used JR Video, we used them. They have song lists you can choose from. We also went to St. Lucia, and they played Angel too a lot when we went. Everytime I hear that song I think of my HM.

For baby pics we used Through the Years
Ceremony pics, before the wedding, we used
Going to the Chapel, and after the ceremony, they played piano music in the background.

LOVE -- Natalie Cole (we did not do the baby pictures just dating so this is the song we used for for our dating pictures)


Martina McBride -- Valentine ( Pre- Ceremony)

Celine Dion --- Because you loved me
(Post ceremony)

and for the recap we used our wedding song that my DH wrote.

Hope this helps -- I finally sent all the songs to Bellarino about a week ago and I got married in September -- I had a hard time deciding on songs.

We gave our videographer a do not use list....and then a suggested artist list...no specific songs.

The end product had:

Opening montage: "Dear Prudence" by the Beatles (We cried our eyes out when we heard it, it's DH's favorite Beatles song, and it's so unusual and perfect for a wedding video!)
Pre Ceremony footage of me and DH: "I Only Have Eyes For You"
Before Ceremony interviews/shots (he interviewed my nephew, niece, had shots of everyone getting ready in black and white. He used a classical piece for this...can't remember the name right now.
After Ceremony: "Beautiful Day" by U2 (he made this part of the video look like the U2 video...it's so cool)
Cake: "When I'm 64" by the Beatles
Recap: "Something" by the Beatles
Honeymoon: "Come Rain Or Come Shine" by Ray Charles

Can you tell we are Beatle fans?

I dont know the songs that you have picked except for the St. Elmos fire. We are using that in our wedding video! I think thats a really good song to use.

Taking our pictures at the Reception Hall - “Breathe” Faith Hill
Cocktail Hour – “At last” Celene Dion & “There you’ll be” - Faith Hill
Honeymoon Pics “Escape” - Enrique Iglesias
Recap of Wedding Day - “Beautiful Day” - U2

And we had a few other songs in the video for other scenes but these are the major ones

For baby & dating pictues in the beginning we used: James Taylor "Smiling Face"

After ceremony & over cocktail hour Honeydrippers "Sea of Love" & video guy inserted the St. Elmos song

Recap & Honeymoon : Sprial Staircase "I love you more today then yesterday"

I am struggling with this as well...so far, my main contenders for songs are:
Celine Dion - Because you loved me.
Canon in D - for the ceremony recaps.
My first, My last, My everything-dance recap
Beautiful Day - U2
Angel - Lionel Richie
These are the days - 10,000 maniacs.
True Companion - our wedding song :)

Bedda- just read your post...I thought I was the only one who loved that lionel richie song...i never hear anyone mention it!

Annie my husband and I really like that song. In fact when we went to book our photographer he showed us a video presentation of some weddings they have done and the tape they showed us had this song for when they were on their way to the reception and we decided that we wanted that as well.

My husband danced to his mom to "beacause you loved me" by Celene Dion.
