Well, this weekend I finished writing out of the place cards. I have to glue on my lil leaves to each of them. Then it's off to cut and fold the programs!!! Such fun with only 12 days left

Ok, Programs FINISHED! There are glued leaves on our place cards (they're still drying). Tonight we meet with our coordinator at the Sheraton to go over FINAL items. I can't believe only 10 days left WOW

This weekend put me over the top. I think I lost 5 lbl from stress. I've been pretty calm for the most part.

I did manage to get the makeup for myself and my Mom (who never spends money on herself) and had a trial with our makeup artist (also my FSIL). Got the groomsmen gifts - Fossil watches. Picked up a couple of pairs of Donna Karan stockings (cross it off the list).

But, i bought my dress at a Vera Wang sample sale and was recommended a seamstress who worked in the bridal building in NY. Except by the time I called her she was transitioning away from that but said she'd still do my alterations out of her home in NJ (weekhawkin, right near the lincoln tunnel). 2 weeks ago I go for a fitting and all these personal problems sprung up (like her Mother & FAther very sick). And I'm suppose to pickup the dress Sunday early evening adn I go early to see some friends in NJ. And she hadn't finished the dress yet. I feel like a horrible person, with her father in ICU, I make her go home and finish my dress because I cannot get back to NJ with the wedding less than two weeks away. Then I realize I have to dry clean it because it's filthy(it's a sample). So now it's in a cleaners in NYC and I had to take the bra cups out because it will melt. Don't know how I'm going to put it back in. Now I have to pick the dress up somehow in the city Monday at 4pm

Thanks for letting me vent. Just wish I could relax, but I get home last night hopeing to crawl into bed and can't. We just bought a house and we are having someone put in moldings for us and yesterday when I return home he's started in our bedroom and everything is out of our room. I need a message or something. Think I'll go to Yoga at lunch time in our company gym.

Sent in my final # today, and I have a final meeting with the photographer tomorrow.

Still to do:

table seatings and placecards
order candy apples
wrap favors
petal cones
pick up mini pumpkins
one last fitting
one more hair trial
bachelorette party (this Sat)
I know I'm missing something.....

i feel like i am hangin on by a thread. I still have to make placecards, and programs. my fil are putting together the favors. thank goodness.

i am trying to get in touch with someone about lowering my minimum, but i doubt that will happen my final count is due tomorrow.

we have tons of relatives in florida who were affected greatly by the hurricanes and are unable to make it. it was so last minute because there were hopes that they could. oh well, theer isn't too much i can do except hope that the fox hollow is nice about it.

i feel like i want to throw up! i just have too much going on between the wedding, the house and graduate school.

thanks i have my moments of weakness, and this morning was one. i'm a little better now.

my mom spoke with the fox hollow and they won't lower the minimum, but they may upgrade us with some things. it makes me feel a little better about it.

i met with my DJ tonight and he was awesome so I am really excited about it now!

almost 8 days to go!

Ok, things are a lot better now. I think I got past the point of worrying about things I can't control. Though lost 2 lbs from worrying.

Been really productive. Not at work of course. Think I'm going back to my dentist tomorrow and making my teeth whiter. What's another $500 when we're spending thousands.

My best friend is making my programs for me. And she's good. She is putting a black and white photo on the cover of us and creating a design around it (I could never have done this or patient enough). It is good to have friends.

Called all the vendors, making final payments on Saturday. Final hair appointment on Sunday (same woman will do my hair day of). Picking dress up Monday. I think all I'll have after that is meeting the band to show them the place, meeting Rabbi again to show him the place and get my nails done.

How is everyone else doing?

Uggg....rain on Sunday!!!! I guess it will be what will be. You Sat brides, looks nice and sunny. I'm not looking anymore, I'll just expect the worse and let it go.

Got my dress fixed. Picked it up from the dry cleaners (if anyone wants their address in the city let me know they did a fabulous job, cost $150).

Programs are almost done, need to work on the thank you's without offending any family members that didn't really help.

Just need to drop my stuff off at the Old Field this Thursday when I show the Rabbi and Band where the place is.

I'm going to adjust my iteneray for the day and type of the vendor names and numbers and deligate someone to be in charge.

Then I'm done. (exept for the waxing on Wednesday and the nail appoint Thurs).

Can't believe it's this weekend.

I have almost constant butterflies in my stomach! I feel like I still have SO much to do when in reality I don't. I cried on the way to work this morning while "In My Daughter's Eyes" was on I'm getting quite emotional these days, hoping it won't get too much worse.........

I have been so busy, freaking out, not sleeping, having bizarre dreams, can't believe how broke I am!

Just wanted to say HI to all the October brides - 2 more weekends left then we're into November!
