Fall Wedding Ideas

Hey, I'm getting married in the fall and wanted to do a fall wedding theme...just looking for any suggestions any of you might have so I can start looking into what I want to do for my wedding day! Thanks!!

Leaves . . . I love different colored leaves. Everytime I think of fall weddings I pictures leaves scattered around the centerpieces and nice rich autumn colored flowers like orange, yellow, burgundy . . .

I love how some people have had leaf shaped bottles of maple syrup as favors . . .

You can also have a leaf shape as the place card forthe guest I saw it in a magazine, it looked so nice.

YES! I already have the company for the leaf shaped maple syrup for favors...a friend of my mothers had it at her sons wedding..loved it the minute I saw it. And yes I want leaves everywhere, im even having my flower girl throw leaves instead of rose petals..and my ring bearers pillow will have two acorns in the middle of it...i love the fall! lol

Also -- packets of seeds and apple/pear themes foods and teas are very fall. Cider and things like that -- easy to incorporate into a menu and/or favors

We did a fall themed wedding. I have our review up on the Review board. I have some of our fall things in the pics there. We threw leaves outside the church which looks awesome in the pics. Also we did the maple syrup favors and our invites were fall themed and we even used leaves to line the aisle instead of a runner. It looked great. We also had pew bows with gourds and such. Good Luck

Many halls will let you have a signature drink and you could do a spiced rum as yours. I had fall undertones to my wedding, but I woudn't say it was a fall theme. My girls wore cranberry dresses and carried creme flowers. I wore cream and carried dark red flowers. My chuppa and CP were fall colored gerber daisies and black magic roses with fall leaves mixed in. You can have small touches like I did, or you could totally run with the fall theme- whatever you want!

I had fall cps & bouquets. ( my proofs are in newlyweds)

I had little leaf placecard holders as table # holders. I used ivory instead of white for palcecards & table #s.
bms wore cranbery. reception hall had jewel toned candles, vases with leaves & acorns, leaves & acorns on place card table & mantle.

Not all of this is visible in the pistures though.

another fall theme bride here!! we are doing the maple syrup favors - i just got my sample in the mail the other day. the 50ml bottle is about the size of your palm - bigger than i expected! here are also some pics i have been collecting!

can I also make another suggestion? Since we are in NY and we are known for our apples, you can go out east a pick a bunch of apples in different color and give bags of apples as favors or as an item in the OOT bags. Just an idea!

I had fall leaves sprinkled around the base of the centerpieces at the reception. I had miniature leaves for the coctail hour room. My bo-ks were fall colored. I attached a pic where you can hopefully see the flowers.

I just had a halloween wedding, if you want to check out the review:

My wedding review

We used fall colors for everything - red, orange, yellow and brown. For the placecards, we used the leaf shaped cards. For centerpieces, we scattered leaves on the table, and placed in the center a double-walled bowl with autumn garland stuffed inside the wall, and leaf candles floating on top. For the ceremony, my florist decorated the fireplace mantle with autumn garland, and we had chyrsanthenums line the aisle, with scattered leaves and garland. And, for the favors, we used mini-lanterns... it was really cute!

This is what I used for my centerpieces! But, we placed leaf candles inside inside of the white candle... and we scattered leaves around the bowl on the table
