My First Attempt at my DIY Invitations

So...what ya think? I'm going to be making a few changes - not sure about the border....there will also be a white ribbon to close the pocketfold and sealed with a 2x2 diamond lable matching the background.

OMG! They are absolutely stunning Christine! You did an awesome job. They look professionally done, great job! Were they really hard to make?

Aw thanks...I'm ...

The most effort (and time) was getting the font aligned, borders, and such....I guess the "designing" part. The assembly was super easy!

Well your design is a beautiful one, no doubt you spent loads of time making it the masterpiece it is! And after looking at your community album of monograms, I just might have to "beg" you to make me some!
Your work as always is fantastic! You should be proud

Re: My First Attempt at my DIY Invitations

Love the colors and design and everything....but.... the wording of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Linda seems a little weird.

Mr. Richard (blank) and Mrs. Linda (blank)
or
Mr. and Mrs. Richard (blank)

It just doesn't roll well on my tongue.
Or am I just not using my tongue right today?

I think (but I could be wrong) that Christine wants to make sure both of her parents and her FH's parents are honored by name BUT I do see BJ's point. Once a woman accepts her husbands last name as her own, the couple is known as Mr. and Mrs. Man's First Name and Last Name. There is typically no separation of parents first names on invitations unless they are divorced.

I think the invites are lovely. Good job. I love the colors.
