My favorite hotel was the Four Seasons on the Big Island. It was worth every penny because we really felt like royalty when we stayed there. We loved everything about it.

Four Seasons Maui - was not happy with our experience there but loved Wilea, Maui itself
The hotel Hanna Maui - It is the best!!!! but super expensive one night was over 700 
and the Marriot in Kauai near the airport - loved it too and would stay there in a heartbeat. It has the largest pool on the island
