DIY invite help!!

So I found an invite I would like to replicate, but I am not sure how to do it. I am planning on purchasing cardstock from invitesbyyou.com cut to the right size, but does anyone have a suggestion as to what size they should be cut (I will have 3 layers, like it shows) I think the ouside layer will be 5 x 7, but then how big should the inside layer be? Also, I would love to have those designs on the edges. Do you need a special program to get these or is there one online I can download for free? OK I hope all you crafty DIY girls can help me on this one!! Thanks so much in advance.

Re: DIY invite help!!

My pocketfolds are 5x7, and the cardstock is 5x5.

As far as teh design on the edges - I've seen similar ones in the MS Word clip gallery.

Re: DIY invite help!!

This invitation looks like it is square- are you planning on making it rectangular? Basically the layer that is that blue color in the pic needes to be probably about 1/4 of an inch larger all around than the invite card and the black one looks like it would be about 1 inch larger all around than the blue card.

As for the designs, there are some on MS word and there are some that you can pay to download on the internet
