This may be a silly shoe question, but I have to ask....
So, last week when I picked out my dress, the woman said that she couldn't take my measurements until AFTER I had gotten my shoes, because if I get a shoe with a heel it will alter how long the length of the skirt will be. And part of the problem with my dress is at the bottom there is bead work that she also said if I have to have the dress hemmed, it will make the beadwork closer to the floor and not look right. So the skirt length is being customized to my exact height and shoes.
Anyway, so I got my shoes and they are fairly low and comfy (only a 2 inch heel - which is low for me). But I'm also thinking about getting slippers to wear for the reception. So what should I get measured in?
Do you think it's better to have 2 extra or 2 less inches of skirt on my dress? Or does it just not matter at all? HELP!!! I'm confused!!!!!

Go somewhere in the middle! If they need to make it 2 inches shorter with the slippers or 2 inches longer in the shoes-have them measure you in the shoes and add and inch..does that make sense? have them measure you with both on - if the difference in length is 2 inches-have them add 1 inch-this way its only 1 inch short and 1 inch long!
