HELP!!!!!! PICS of HAIR/MAKEUP trial!!!
Hey there,
Ok, I had my hair and makeup trial on Monday, and I think I'm dissapointed. I thought I would be more done up. I know she said that my hair would be smoother and tighter the day of, because she was doing a quick run through.
Also, I don't think I liked my makeup. I don't think enough was done with my eyes, and I looked orange.
What do you girls think? Honest opinion.
(oh, hair is frizzy bc I went there with my hair curly and it was 95 degrees out.)

It looks like she was trying to give you a summery, bronze-y makeup kind of look which tends to be a lot of shimmery colors and on the natural side. I think that's a good look but it might not hold up as well with wedding photography lights, etc.
I agree she could have done more with your eyes - more mascara or a few false lashes on the ends and contouring/blending a few different shades of eyeshadow (it looks from the picture like it's all one color?). She also could have defined your brows a little more (this was the first thing most makeup artists did with me at least). I like the cheek color but I think you appied your blush in the last picture better than she did in the makeup trial.

The make up needs to be a bit more dramatic.
The hair is fine....needs to be perfected, but its fine. And like you said....gotta dismiss the frizzy factor...it happens

I like your hair...but the makeup is a little to orange fore my liking...
BUT I really like the way YOU do your makeup  would you consider doing it yourself...you look really natural and pretty...
I did my own makeup and I found it quite theraputic and good quiet time for me....before all the madness of the day...

Hi ~ I see what you are saying about the makeup trial...I think it could be a little bit more dramatic (too pinky for me) I think she was definatly trying to go with a spring look ~ I actually like the cheeks you did for yourself ~ I like you hair a lot ~ I think it could be a little tighter....looks like it looks really loose... if your not happy with your makeup ~ try someone else... I know it can get costly!

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE your hair!!!!! As far as the makeup goes, I would like to see a close up of it, but from the distance I am not crazy about it, def. need to tone down the blush a bit.

yeah, she originally had bronzer on...and i am pale...so i said between that and the eyeshadow it looked like i had a big bruise....
so she tried covering it up with pink...i think i am going to go with someone else...i am not taking the chance...i will be miserable and pissy that day if I am disappointed and worrying about it.

I like the back of your hair even though it could be neater. The front looks frizzy and looks like you just threw it back after a day at the beach. Your makeup is too light and not does not bring out your features. I don't know who you are using but I can recommend who I used. I used Khouloud's Beauty. They do have a website khouloudsbeauty.com and if you want their phone number I will be more than happy to give it to you. Kacey and Rosemarie were the girls who did my wedding. They were fantastic, they really listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. My girls and I were so happy with them. They also stayed with me until the ceremony and helped out me and my girls with anything that we needed.
