Brown and Green Wedding

Hi everyone!

My FH and I have been thinking about a wedding next spring, but recently have been talking about possibly moving it up to this autumn (we haven't picked a venue yet, so the availability will probably be what governs the exact date). I know...planning a fall wedding may a bit rushed, but I think it can be done since we want it to be a pretty simple affair.

So I have been playing around with a chocolate brown and spring green color theme. I figure it is pretty forgiving since I can play up the green if its in the spring (with a lot of white), and the brown if it is in the fall (with more ivory and creme).

I saw this picture and I fell in love with it, what do you think? Any other ideas?

Oh my goodness! Thank you so so much! I just about saved every picture! I did some Google image searches but I did not find nearly as many (or as good) pictures! I can't wait to show them to my BM!

I am in love with the brown BM dresses and green bouquets. I was originally going to have my girls carry green silk fans instead of flowers, but the flowers look so pretty. I am so torn.

I cannot thank you enough!

I am doing these EXACT colors! My wedding is 10/8/10 I love the green and brown look!

FH and I have been very busy trying to find a RH that we both like, and in my search I have discovered something....many halls have VERY dark carpeting. Since we are pretty much set on a May wedding, does anyone thing that it may be too dark with dark carpeting and dark brown tablecloths? I may do light green instead and save the brown for napkins, bridesmaids dresses and small details.

While we have been trying to settle on the big things (like the RH) I have been also tackling the design of some of the small things. I decided that I wanted a bit of a vintage feel for the printed materials so I am designing our favors. So far, I am leaning towards playing cards as our favors. I just completed the deck, but these are a few of the cards.

Oh my gosh...I'm doing mint green and chocolate brown and my date is 10-10-10!!!
