Re: Fall weddings-any ideas?
There are a lot of beautiful autumn themes and things you can get and make to carry it out...fall leaves, pumpkins etc. Some ideas:
* use mini pumpkins for the place card holders * pumpkins as CPs with candles and leaves * instead of place cards on a table, use a place card tree and hanging autumn leaves for the place cards * colors: orange, copper, brick red, golden, chocolate * one 08 bride did squirrel place card holders :)
ALso do a search on the DIY and Themes boards...they have lots of good ideas
If i think of any more I'll post later!!

Re: Fall weddings-any ideas?
Im doing copper colored pumpkins filled with all different fall colored flowers surrounded by frosted ivory candles for centerpieces. Our placecard holders are leaves and I'm now searching for fall like invites. I'm trying to keep everything to the deep rich greens, burnt orange, yellows, reds and such.

Re: Fall weddings-any ideas?
I love the idea a maple syrup as a favor, also candy apples. Plus the fall is when the winiers harvest the grapes so maybe something wine related I found this picture and thought you might like it

Re: Fall weddings-any ideas?
I've seen these little chocolates that are wrapped in paper that makes it look like nuts; I think Godiva has it, not sure; but i'm sure someone makes them in bulk. Would be nice as favors in clear cello bags with your name/date on it:
If I were to do a fall wedding I'd go with burnt orange/burgundy/moss green& a lighter green, possibly deep lime and gold. And a little brown.
Speaking of moss; you could do an enchanted woods theme.
You could do a harvest theme: incorporate wheat and fruits into the decor
I found a whole bunch of fall items here
pic 11/22 ->the nuts looking choclate.
