Thank you cards

I am about to start writing my Thank you cards, and I have no idea what to write.

Can anyone give me ideas what to write for a monetary gift and for a physical gift?

I wrote something like this:

Dear _____,
Thank you so much for coming to our wedding and for your generous gift. We are so happy that you were there to share our special day with us.
We hope to see you soon!!


Certain ones were more personalized...like the ones to my sisters and SIL and MIL. Also to my OOTers, I added a note about how we appreciated their coming all this way to be a part of our special day. :) HTH!!!
