those of you who got marriage license in NYC ...
how long did it take you to get your marriage certificate after your wedding?
i was married on 8/2 and am still waiting for mine. is this normal? i have tried calling but all i get is automation - there is NO way to get a person! (i tried every option they had, including making up my own!).
i want to get started with changing my name on the "big" things (ss, dmv, etc) and i cant w/o the certificate!
thanks for any help!

I think it took about a month.. it all depends on how fast the person that married you sent it in.. I would call them and see when they sent in the document.
