Just thank them for their presence at your wedding. That is what I am going to do.

Do a search and you will find tons of discussions about this topic. People's opinions vary. Etiquette states that yes, you thank them for sharing your day. Guests also have up to one year to send you a wedding gift and a few girls have gotten gives months after their weddings.

Initially we had several non-gifters - who proceeded to give us a gift over the last yr. There is still one remaining non-gifter and their time ran up since our 1 yr anniv past a few weeks ago. I sent thank yous after I received the gifts, and to this non-gifter I will not send a thank-you - just my personal opinion but if you came to my wedding and got lots of free food and booze, and a favor then that is your thank you....nuff said. I think its ridiculous in this day and age for people not to bring ANYTHING to a wedding, not even a freakin card. You can get a cheap 10 candy dish at ODD JOB if its a financial issue ....

Maybe I am wrong, but I did not send a thank you card to anyone who did not bring a gift. We did not have photos included in our thank you's so we didn't feel it was necessary to send the stiffers anything. I felt silly writing "thank you for coming to our wedding" --it just seemed like it was a dig at those people who didnt give anything.

We only had 1 and it was Frankie's friend. I left it up to him. He said nope he has stood us up and/or stiffed us for the last time and he doesn't ever want to see him again. So we are not sending him one

I only had one person not give a gift and she was a close friend w/serious financial constraints. Of course she'll receive a thank you.

I would send anyone who came to the wedding a thank you....for spending the day with us more importantly than the gift. I didn't invite people with a requirement for a gift on the invite...jmo

You should thank them for sharing your day. I would NEVER give those stiffers another thought but I did the right thing and sent them a TY card. Now those we just didn't show up (but RSVPd yes) and never even sent us a card well...they will never get a darn thing from us including a christmas card!
