On December 1st, I went into the city with all intentions of doing some sightseeing and going to see the Christmas Tree. Thinking there was going to be a 3 hour wait at the Empire State building, I was pleasantly surprised that it only took 30 minutes. So up we go to the 80th floor where they make you wait in another line and you get your picture taken. We opt to walk up the 6 flights of stairs to the 86th floor instead of waiting for another elevator. One hundred plus steps later we are looking out at a breathtaking view of the city from each side of what seems like the top of the clouds. The sun was setting, and looked quite stunning shining its light on all thousands of windows in New York City. We walked around, bundled so tight because it was freezing, until the sun set just beyond the horizon.

And then it happened....

Jeremy turned to me and told me he loved me. He said some very special things and while holding my hand he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. With people standing around clapping, taking pictures and clasping their hands I happily said yes.

So, on December 1st, 2007, on the 86th floor of the Empire State Building, Jeremy took my breath away and made a memory for me that I will never forget!!

I Love Him
