My fiancée and I got engagement Christmas 07 after 8 years of knowing him, 4 years of being in a relationship. He proposed in front of all his family and I was very shocked. I know he had purchased a ring but I did not know his was going to give it to me for Christmas.
I would have wanted it to be a little bit more romantic but I was in the company of my new family so, I guess it was not all that bad. I just wish my parents were there to see their little girl's proposal.
We have not set a date yet; I'm just enjoying being engaged for a moment or two. My engagement ring is GORGEOUS!!!!!!
