Change SS card by mail
Has anyone had any success with this?They want original documents and I think it's ridiculous to send my ID through the mail. They're only open while I'm at work and between my honeymoon and Hurricane Sandy, I'm afraid to ask for any more extra time off.

I did it all through mail-- took about 2 1/2 weeks, I was nervous about sending originals but I got everything back

im so nervous about sending original documents in the mail but have NO time to physically visit a social security office.
