Okay, I'll post the first

Hello Married Folks:

How is everyone feeling with married life? Do you miss the wedding day as much as I?

Give yourself 6 months - minimum. Longer if you just moved in together.

Miss it?

I certainly DON'T miss the headaches of planning, coordinating, researching....not to mention shopping for furniture, merging 2 apartments, setting up accounts, etc.

I do miss having the opportunity to have someone help me plan so I could enjoy the specialness of planning a wedding. I did it all myself and it was most stressful. Now, I am helping my sister plan & am trying hard to enable her to feel that magic.

It WAS a wonderful day & the memories are long lasting.....I miss the excitement of 'being the bride', I must admit. But being the wife is much more romantic :o)

So hows married life?

Has anyone else noticed how the first question everyone asks is, 'So hows married life?' I appreciate the sentiment, but after 5 monthes of that question at least 5 times a day, i want to scream to throw someone off, 'It sucks!' Just for kicks I am actually enjoying it. We have 3 weddings to go to this month! Had one last weekend, my goodness I felt like I was being so critical(to myself, I never voiced my opinions0 But I hope I enjoy weddings again!

Its been a while since we've chatted, Gina. How's married life? Dental school??? Hope all is well!

:o)

So hows married life?

I get that same question 'how is married life'
this week people actually asked 'how was your first labor day'... We have been together for 7 years and lived together for 5 years before we got married.
Our relationship did not change much, but I think the pressures are off and we are both more relaxed.

So hows married life?

I actually enjoy going to weddings more now than before. I always liked them but now I appreciate the details b/c I understand the work that goes into them. Its also neat to pay attention how people express themselves. :)

More importantly (to us) going to them renews our 'warm & fuzzies' from our wedding day and, in a very small way, makes us feel like a bride and groom all over again!
