Hello

Hi all!! I just found this area, I am so glad that it is here, while I do not have a topic that I wish to talk about, it feels good to know that I have a place that I can come and vent, or discuss marriage issues!! I was so addicted to this board while I was planning my wedding! I do not visit back often, because I was getting a little tired of the topics. But I am certainly ready to rip and raw with new topics here!!

Jamelle

Our wedding was Nov 4, and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! And, my parents hosted another celebration for us in Chicago last weekend. Even though it's been a little crazy lately, everything was so special this past month!!!

Hello

I agree. I was so addicted while I was planning my wedding and even for the 1st month after - I still do check on, but am also bored with it.

If I remember correctly, your officiant is required to mail it in within 5-7 days of the ceremony. Make sure it was mailed. If it was, then call the Clerk's office for a status.

When the License was issued to you initially, it should have had a reference number on it. At least ours did - it was issued in Queens County. If you don't have the reference number, I'm sure they could look it up for you with just your names.

Hello

Yes, the board is addicting. I still go and contribute a lot, but I laugh when I see the conversations, because it doesn't matter how much you worry, it's gonna be what it is. THere is a bride across the street from me getting married in her backyard (huge) tomorrow at 2pm. White picket fence with pretty white lights, the tent went up yesterday, the grass went it. I get chills watching it because it reminds me of Steel Magnolias when they had Shelby's wedding in the yard. I can't wait to see the bride. (250! people)

Live Well
