Wedding Video

I got my wedding video delivered to me today at work. All I want to do is go home and watch it!! These last couple of hours at work are moving so slowly. Fingers crossed it came out well. It only took three months. Not too bad.
Yes, I wish I can wear my wedding dress again and soon. So a close fam friend reminded me that I can renew my vows on the 5th anniversary...so I think we may do that.

I am glad the planning process is over. ALthough they were leading up to a happy day- the process brought out the best- and worse in those aroundme- and maybe me too,

So, how was it?

I'm going on 4 months and still have not received mine!

They recently said something to me re: it and said they were still planning on giving us a gift. Something about ettiquette says then have until our first anniversary. I told them it wasn't necessary but they said they were....that was 2 months ago and my wedding was in March.

I am glad you enjoyed it - I am sure that it is beautiful. I cannot wait to get mine and see everything I missed. Mine is supposed to be 2 or 3 hours - many places will give you the unedited version - see if you can get that.
I did not receive cards or gifts from my boss from my husbands boss and 2 friends. I have heard that they have 1 year to give a gift. A card would have been nice!!

I know they can't put everything in, but I would have liked to see people arriving at the reception hall. I would have liked more of the cocktail hour. They included people's speeches to us (when they go around to all the tables), but they cut out my closest cousin's speech, as well as one of my bridesmaids. So, that was disappointing. Also, there was just one camera, so during the ceremony it was just on us. I would have liked a shot of my parents and the bridal party up there with us.

It was wonderful!! It's amazing to see everything that went on that you might not have noticed on that day. And to watch yourself on video is very bizarre. You get to see yourself walk down the aisle, and your reaction to everyone. And I loved seeing our baby pictures at the beginning, and the recap at the end.

So, the first viewing was wonderful, but of course I had to replay the highlights for myself (my husband had fallen asleep by this time). So that's when the nagging criticisms of the video kicked in.

So, how was it?

I get a 3 or 4 hour unedited copy and 2 2hr copies. I also ordered a highlight tape which is 30 minutes of just highlights to the music of my choice.
