Gary and I were extremely pleased with East Coast Band for our wedding. We will always remember our wedding because it was so special and East Coast made that possible. Most of my family are American Idol fans and to have Mike Lynch who was a former contestant and made it to the finals was so exciting and our family even took pictures with him. We were married in May and our guests are still raving how great the band was. My boss who is a Senior Vice President sent an email to everyone that he knows that if anyone is having any kind of affair they should check out East Coast. They played the entire evening and knew exactly what to play according to the attendees. I don't think they ever took a break. They are such a great group of people and when we were planning they were always available for any questions that arose and were extremely accommodating. There is nothing like a real band verses a D-Jay and quite honestly(it is not that much more) to have the remembrance of a life time. I would highly recommend everyone to visit their website and check them out - you will not regret it! THEY ARE OUTSTANDING. We still look up their schedule and every chance we have we go to hear them play.

Simply the best non traditional wedding band in NYC. When I say that, I mean that most wedding bands that we saw while searching for a band were extremely cheesy and quite honestly weak musically. The minute we saw East Coast as we showed up unannounced at one of their casino gigs, we were sold. Paul is very easy to work with and the band with Jackie, Travis and Fred on vocals were top notch. Our guests raved about the band and they simply made the night. Very few people were sitting. Hire them! If I had another event tomorrow, I would.

We used East Coast Band for our recent wedding and it was one of the best decisions in our planning. They came highly recommended by a friend who had been to several weddings and said they were the best. We checked them out in advance and were pleased. Then came the wedding and they TOTALLY delivered. They were professional in all the planning. Their price was fair relative to other Manhattan competitors. The guidance they gave us on creating a fun, energetic night was spot on. We really wanted everyone to dance and we got what we asked for: the venue had to literally chase our guests off the dance floor to serve food. At the end of the night when we gave our little speech to the crowd, we mentioned the band, and our invitees literally burst into applause with praise for ECB. You cannot go wrong with East Coast Band. Paul and his team are true professionals in every sense of the word. They made our wedding fun and memorable and we have become huge fans.

The best wedding band we've ever seen posted 9/12/2013 East Coast band is probably the best band I've ever seen; and I've been to a lot of weddings. First of all, they took care of the entire event: from ceremony to cocktail hour to the party. Secondly, they had everyone dancing the entire time. Other than during speeches, the entree and maybe the cake cutting, they never stopped playing and had everyone from every generation up on their feet. For the ceremony, Paul transcribed several modern songs we wanted and they turned out amazing, exactly like we wanted and we received a lot of great comments from guests. Then the reception. East Coast had us do our first dance right away as we were introduced and asked us if we'd like to invite others to dance with us. Best decision ever. The band read the audience and kept playing for four or five more songs before anyone sat down. That set the tone for the entire evening. A lot of food went uneaten because people were too busy having fun on the dance floor. We requested a lot of Motown and oldies which they did but they also gave us quite a few more modern songs that we wouldn't have thought of but that really got people excited. Their renditions were fantastic and they didn't just play songs through, they flowed in and out of songs, created medleys, ensured the tempo always got people excited, and really interacted with the audience. Their version of 'You Make Me Wanna Shout' had everyone jumping in unison while one of the singers was out on the dance floor with us. Both my husband and I are musicians/singers and I can't stress enough how amazing East Coast is. There are lots of bands out there with great musicians, but that doesn't make them great wedding/party bands. East Coast has it all. They know how to read the crowd, they know how to keep people excited and they know how to play together incredibly well. Since our wedding we've gotten raving emails and calls about the band, how no one ever sat down, how kids and grandparents danced together to every song (from 'Ain't No Mountain High' to 'Blurred Lines') and how much fun they had at our wedding. Did I say yet how awesome they were? Itai (and Alli)
