    Our wedding was February 27th and we truly can't say how impressed we are. I don't even know where to begin. Our maître d (Bob), Bridal Attendant (Jen), Captain, and staff were all amazing. Everyone one of our guests felt like they were treated like they were members of the bridal party. As for the members of the bridal party they all said there was not one moment where their needs were not met. Everyone always says you never have fun at your own wedding, but my husband and I had a BLAST! You guys took care of every single thing so we did not have to worry. All the food was excellent. We truly can't believe how well the wedding went. We can't say thank you enough!

    This was the last place we came to after seeing 9 venues in 2 weekends trying to figure out where we wanted our reception. I wasnt even thrilled to go inside because i was tired. Well i am glad i did. They did a FABULOUS job!! I actually got to eat, drink and dance at my own wedding.. and the food was excellent!! The cocktail hour was amazing we totally had a BACON BAR.. that was great too! My bridal attendant Katelyn was sooo amazing.. and i never like people catering to me so i felt bad but she was sooo amazing to everyone in our entire bridal party!! Nick the Maitre'd did a great job! UgHH i cant even rave enough about this place to be honest. My guests have not stopped talking months later... they all have said its one of the best weddings they've ever been to. I cant thank my Banquet manager Mindy, and the entire staff at watermill for everything in making that night something to remember !!

    We booked our wedding with Eric who totally won us over and is the main reason we chose watermill. He catered to us from day one: he gave us everything we wanted and more. Up until the day of the wedding he was always responsive and in touch with us to finalize plans. Chef Chris was also amazing. He worked with us to take care of family members with peanut and egg and dairy allergies. He literally called each family member individually and talked to them. Who does that?? The day of the wedding was a beautiful day. We were lucky to have our wedding outside. Unfortunately the microphone didn't work at our ceremony. Our officiant, we were told pressed "mute." But when she asked for someone to come up and fix it, no one came. Later on, we were told that no one wanted to "ruin our wedding by coming up to the front." None of our friends or family were able to hear our personal vows. Everyone made sure to tell us once the reception started. We were surprised and disappointed. Although my husband and I do find this it be a giant setback, it was still a beautiful day and the rest of the wedding went smoothly. Watermill is a beautiful place, with plenty of delicious food and kind and hard working people. We recommend though that you tell your maitre d, whomever it is, that you DO want him/her to interrupt the ceremony if your microphone stops working. It wouldn't be interrupting your wedding, but rather fixing what could be a potential disaster. We also recommend asking for Eric to plan your wedding. You won't be disappointed.

    The Watermill went above and beyond on our wedding. They were very helpful in the almost 1.5 years of planning prior to our event and absolutely shone on the day of. Our point of contact Brian kept assuring me it would be a beautiful, well-run event during the planning and I wish I'd put my stress aside and believed him. On the day, the food was spectacular, the decor beautiful, and the service provided by every one of their staff exceptional. In particular, the Bridal Attendant (Kaitlin), Maitre D' (Monika), and Captain (Danielle) provided by them to manage my wedding party and the event were incredible. They did everything possible to give us a lavish and smooth event. I feel that we got back 3x what we paid them. As we chose to have our event on a Sunday afternoon, we paid a slightly lower fee than at a peak time, yet they treated us like we were their most important clients. The food, ceremony space, cocktail hour space, reception space, furnishings, silverware, and cake were all included in the price, which made planning so much easier. They were respectful and genuine on the day, sharing in our joy and helping us through our important day. They also did a great job working with us over email and Skype, as we live in China and flew in for the wedding. I will say that it made it easier that we didn't have any major special requests or deviations from their set menu or planning. I think if we had big changes, it would have been less easy to organize everything. I recommend capitalizing on their expertise and going with their suggestions- they are excellent and your wedding will go wonderfully.

    Our favorite part were the day of staff! They really knew how to make sure we were on schedule, eating, drinking, and having a good time. Our wedding was a bit out of the ordinary with game centerpieces, memorials, and shot glass toast. Despite that the staff kept the party going, they allowed us to be ourselves and different. The reason i can't give a perfect 5 is because leading up the the day we had many hiccups. Some staff members on the sales team did NOT see our vision and were less happy about our out of cookie cutter request. Need less to say we got our way and the day was absolutely beautiful. I wish i was told everything would be inside - despite what we discussed. but come the day of its such a blur that it didn't really matter.
