Affordable North Fork Wedding Suggestions...Please help!!

Hello! I just got engaged and we are looking for a laid back wedding venue for May 2019 on a Saturday. We are hoping to spend no more than $15,000 on the entire wedding and are having a hard time finding venues that we can afford. Basically we are just looking for a field or something similar and then we can add the tent and DIY everything else. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!!!

I chose the Bates House in East Setauket (which costs $4,500 for 3 days use) but I did look at a LOT of venues in LI.

I would suggest looking at:Jedidah Hawkins Inn
400 South Jamesport Avenue
Jamesport, NY  11947

It was an interesting venue which would have been my runner up. The inn itself has a designate place for the wedding, outdoor space, 6 rooms (I believe) and a speakeasy. When I went for the visit - I was surprised that if you did pick a slower day in the week i.e. Wednesday or Thursday there is no site fee.

This is the initial information I receive from them via email:
The price per person is $200 plus 20% gratuity, plus 8.625% tax. Included
is the ceremony,cocktails with  open bar and hors d'oeuvres, served dinner
or stations and dancing, tables, chairs, napkins, glasses, plates,
flatware etc. It's all inclusive. You only need your flowers,
photographer, music and officiant.

I have some dates this October still available when I'm discounting the
site fee. We encourage Friday and Sunday weddings.  For September or
October 2019, the site fee would be $3000 for a Friday or Sunday and $6000
for a Saturday.
