Anyone who had a winter DECEMBER wedding i need your advice!!

My sister is planning on having a winter wedding and wants to chooseher date as DECEMBER 29 but ...is concerned about the guests. She feels its too much for family and friends to be able to afford to either travel or spend money right after the holidays and so close to new years. What do you think?

Hmm alot of people are off that week so it may be a great time to have it. If many are flying into town then that would def be a factor to consider.

I think it is a good idea, a lot of people will be fee and celebrating holidays.

I actually wanted a New Year's Eve wedding. What better way to bring in the new year with your family and friends. Unfortunately, the date was booked and because of the day it was a bit more pricier. HUbby and I choose 1/3/2015. It was a continuation after the holidays and everyone had a blast. I say go for it :)
