Atlantis Marine World wedding

Hi!

Has anyone gotten married or been to a wedding at Atlantis Marine world (Long Island Aquarium)? All the forums I found are from the early 2000's.

I'm going for a tour and meeting in a few weeks-- I'm planning on a summer wedding and am only considering their "Sea Star Ballroom" which is their reception ballroom (so the reception wouldn't be in the actual aquarium)

Any feedback/info about food/experience as a bride or guest would be greatly appricaited.

I went to a wedding here in 2015. It was gorgeous -- my favorite part was the cocktail hour. They did it in the acquarium. We were served delicious food and drinks while staring into the big tanks. They got married under a pavilion on the water. It was gorgeous.

RE:Atlantis Marine World wedding

I haven't been to a wedding here but I booked my wedding there (cocktail hour in aquarium and reception in Sea Star Ballroom) for November.  The tour was great and I went to one of their showcases which I really liked also.  I've heard good things from a few people who have been to weddings here, so, fingers crossed!

Thanks for replying! We ended up going on the tour and we loved it! Didn’t end up booking tho— we also wanted to do ceremony/cocktail hr in aquarium (outdoor) and reception in sea star, but the extra fee to book both was over our budget. Best of luck to you!! I’m sure it will be amazing, we were pretty into it just wasn’t right for us
