Chateau La Mer's dj

I booked them before I even knew that they were Chateau La Mer's house dj. I had heard them at the Great Bridal Expo and won a discount from them at their booth. Then, while talking to them, I found out they were the house dj for Chateau. That also gave me a discount. I fell in love with them. What would you like to know about them? I have prices, and I also used to work at a catering hall, so I can answer questions.

Has anyone been to an event at Chateau La Mer where the house dj (Invitation to Dance) performed? Does anyone have ANY info on them? Thanks a lot!!

Good luck!

Their basic package was about $1000-1100. But that doesn't include discount for being house dj, and that doesn't include not having the givaways. I would say "maybe", because I am only guessing, that you are looking at about $100-200 less because of discount and no givaways. Again that was a guess. I only know what I got, which was the middle package (out of 4)for 5.5 hours, with two mc's and a dj, and givaway package #1, with discount (bridal expo) and house dj discount it came to $1500. (It started at 1900, plus we added another mc) Plus I just love their energy!

Aside from their prices, do you have any other info about them--good or bad? I had loved their video and then I saw them at the Bridal Expo last night, however the skits they do isn't how they actually treat a wedding, so I was wondering how they are when they get down to business! Do they get people dancing, etc (I'm sure they do with all their energy) have you heard any complaints about them--I'm just about to book them and still know very little! Thanks!!

I think the wedding song list on the Home page is great! I'm curious, too, as to what other couples have chosen and why. Please share!!!

We're probably going to have Frank Sinatra's SUMMER WIND as our first dance song. He's a big Sinatra fan, and we met at a summer camp nine years ago and only saw each other during the summers the first five year (as friends)...awwwwwe...how pukey :-)

They actually have a video which shows them in action. You could probably request one. Also, I haven't ever heard any complaints about them. They are really nice and professional in person ( and the tall one is just as wacky in person as on the stage). Rick is the one we spoke with, and he insisted that you visit or see at least 2-3 other djs before booking with them so that you have a comparison. You have to meet with them at least 3-4 times before the wedding to customize your wedding. I actually saw them perform three times and while the performance for the stage is different, it made me feel comfortable that they were able to get the audience to respond each time in different settings.
