do you know anything about any of these places

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about any of the following places listed in the latest edition of the Long Island Weddingpages:

Bedells at West Wind (Freeport), Clearwater (Massapequa), Harrison House (Glen Cove), Holbrook Country Club (Holbrook), La Grange Inn (West Islip), Maine Maid Inn (Jericho), or Bellport Country Club (Bellport).

The Harrison House is top notch & is very expensive. If its within your budget, I highly recommend it!

My fiance has no conception about music..so, I figured I would pick a song..and that way at least it will be meaningful to ONE OF US!

Ok if Bedells West Wind, is the old West Wind Yacht Club it is very nice for a small affair say about 150, I had a surprise B-Day party for my Mother there a few years ago and people are still taking about the food. The Main Maid Inn, I would never think of as a catering hall, unless they have an extension that I have never seen, It has an old country style to it and the food is good and the service is excellent, we do brunches there from time to time. It is perfect for a small group of say around 50, with a small dance floor, usually when I go there I see small family groups gathering to celebrate a B-day or anniversary, actually it is the perfect place for a rehearsal diner...hope that this helps

Hey Ya!

The Harrison House is very nice. My company has had conferences there. The grounds are breathtaking and the food is excellent! They have a very interesting cocktail hour set-up with different rooms featuring differnet food. Also, since it is a hotel, it makes it sooo convenient for your out of town guests. Anyway, I hope this helps a little!

Good Luck,

Harrison House is beautiful--very classy top notch place, also extremely expensive.

Very nasty - and something important to consider. I always close my window when driving to the airport......

la grange has always given a very good meal and service. we have attended a few weddings there and have had many an affair there from work (i.e. retirements, christmas parties etc.) and have always been very satisfied.

I like the idea of naming the tables - its more fun than just "table 3".....thanks for the input!

Same 2 crews shooting the group shots and those of rob & I together.
