DRUM CAKE

I have a question, I wanted to do a Grooms cake for my wedding in February 2000 I thought that it would be a nice surprise for him since everything seems to be Bride Bride Bride. I know that the cake is supposed to reflect a hobby of the Grooms personality, but do you know the history or the real symbolism behind it? Everything in this wedding tradition stuff has a story, just wondering if you knew!

Jamelle

The wedding is this March - late afternoon wedding, evening reception. Any and all suggestions are welcomed! : )
