George Washington Manor

Hi everyone! I will be getting married at the GW Manor in the spring. Does anyone have any feedback? Anything I should be aware of or prepare for? I'm getting a little nervous since the day is coming and I'd like to be as prepared as possible. Thanks all!

I am in the process of contracting with Atlantic Floral in Freeport. I met with Mike and he was very interested and respectful. They are also a house florist at my catering hall and came highly recommended.

Please let me know if anyone has any feedback on Atlantic Floral's work good or bad (especially bad).

The GW is the sister location to the Milleridge. I checked out the GW - and would have had my reception there if the date was available. (now i'm at the Milleridge and very pleased - GW was closer to the Church).

Are you having it in the room with the fireplace or the 2nd floor window room (both are very pretty). I think the facility is great and since its run by the same folks at M, you should have a great time! (read some of the postings by the Milleridge brides)

Good luck!

I'm having it in the 2nd Floor room. I checked out the Cottage also but their min. guest guarantee was too high. I think both places are great!

I am looking for places to take photos for my April 2001 wedding. What is the deal with the Westbury Gardens? I have never been there?

Thanks, Lisa
