Good place to get a wedding dress off the rack??

Just wondering if anyone knows of a good place that has discounted wedding dresses off the rack.

Since FH and I just booked out wedding I don't think i'll have enough time to order a dress and do alterations

I've been to davids bridal but i'm not willing to spend over $500 for a dress TONS of people have tried on. I have no clue where to look.

Any ideas would help me out a lot!!

Many bridal stores will sell you their sample if you don't have enough time to order it new. And you can get it for less than the retail price since it's a sample. Just go to a few bridal stores and let them know your situation and see if they will do that for you.

Also, if your wedding is in June, you DO have enough time to order a new dress - you may not have as many options, but you do have some. I'd go to RK Bridal - they have a selection of dresses that can come in within 3 months or less.

as the PP said.. check out bridal stores.. they sell samples and you can find good ones that just need dry cleaning some beading clean up..

try the wedding salon in manhasset.. or bridal couture..

my cousin ordred her dress from daivds bridal and it arrived within 4 weeks.. bizarre.. could have been a slow month who knows!

RK bridal is having a sale on some dresses, I was there yesterday and they have a sale rack where you can find some for 99-200 or so.

you have to look carefully though

even for BM dresses.. i've never been there but a girl at work just got her BM dresses there for $50 each!! they were on sale - 60% off

You could always try preownedweddingdresses.com and then have the dress altered to fit you.

Try Davids Bridal! I have heard it's a great place for off the rack wedding dresses! But make sure you look the dress over with a fine tooth comb!

You should try Davids Bridal they order dresses! I ordered mine from there and it only took like 2 weeks to come in. I know people said bad things about them but I would def try them!!!

Try Fantasia Bridal in rocky point! u can buy their dresses off the rack & save a TON...and the majority of them are in decent condition. And of course try davids...they always have great prices! the one near the smithhaven mall in lake grove is HUGE! good luck!

Estelle's dressy dresses has a bridal department with a decent selection. labels aren't too common names but some nice styles and prices I looked at were running usually $500 to 800.

try Village Bridal in Babylon. They have gorgeous gowns and they may have some you can buy off the rack. I would really check them out!

Davids Bridal in Lake Grove is awesome...
I would def try there... Alot of their dresses are marked down now, especially since their new line just came in...
Also, if you order the dress new from there, it only takes like a month to come in, so you would have plenty of time!
