Harbor Club @ Prime VS. Oheka

Hi all!

I'm new here. We looked at only 4 total venues; I don't want a typical catering hall, so it really narrowed down options.

We saw Harbor Club @ Prime and LOVED it, but also got a fairly competitive price at Oheka which I liked too... plus, the castle vibe is just regal and I love the outdoor grounds and the private entrance + hotel on site. Half of our guests will be from out of town, but I also have to figure not all of them will want to spend $250 on a hotel room. Oheka actually includes next day brunch for any guest that stays over.

We are very concerned with food, and know Prime would do a fabulous job. Anyone have any reviews of food @ Oheka? I've heard mixed things.

Any advice on either would be fantastic.

Thanks in advance!

RE:Harbor Club @ Prime VS. Oheka

Hi!

We looked at Harbor Club and liked it as well.  We ate Prime however and wasn't so impressed with the food.

Does Oheka charge a site fee? Want to schedule an appointment, but nervous!

Check out the Village Club at Lake Success :)

RE:Harbor Club @ Prime VS. Oheka

I live right by the Village Club. I should take a look.

I'm surprised about Prime; we had brunch there which was of course good, but not like dinner. We are going for my fiance's birthday to dinner there but we wanted to book a venue before that, though it's only 2 weeks away. I'm eager LOL.

Send me an FM and we can discuss Oheka; there is a site fee but they reduce it for certain times of year.
