HELP - I Only have 35 Days left

I am very excited, very nervous, and very scared!! I have so many emotions running that I don't know what to do with myself!! the RSVP's are coming in, there are fittings and final arrangements to be made, and I have constant butterflies in my stomach!! This is defiantly the best time of my life!!..filed with lots of excitement!! But, I need your help, I feel like I am forgetting some of the little things that need to be planned!! If anyone can think of anything in my hysteria that I may have forgotten please let me know

Don't be too upset about getting upset. With all that's going on & the emotions related to the event, its really easy for the simplest things to seem like deal breakers. We've all done it before and probably will again! Its the nature of the beast......

Debby is right - Just breathe and have the time of your life. Sit down and write out a check list. Go through it and check off everything and then you will feel so much better!

Good point about disgruntle/hungry employee!! But we have to remember to ask ourselves how professional are they if they get upset about a meal?!

Don't forget to confirm all the vendors, also bring a list of the vendors & their phone numbers, just in case and figure out tips for the vendors.

What I'm doing, is trying to write down the order of everything that will have happen that day in detail, Example, -get up -breakfast (what do I have) -hair (who's doing it and what time) -makeup (same question)

-toasts (who's speaking and what order) -champagne glasses -last song of the night (confirm with DJ)

Many people have told me to makes a list before hand of all the group pictures I want to take that day to make sure you get them all- I have had disappointed friends who did not get all the pics they wanted because they forgot on the day!

I was disgusted by a meeting with one DJ who mentioned a tip, two minutes into our conversation. Needless to say, I knew two minutes into the conversation that he was not the one for me. And reading Rob of "Starlight Productions" post, I am glad that HE is not the one either.

For the record, I fully intend on tipping AND feeding my DJ (because he had the class to NOT mention either)

i totally agree with you.. i had my wedding dec 4 and we were just looking at the proofs. i was extremely happy with the portraits, candids color and black and white. the only thing that i would have changed is to make a list of what people i want photo's of. i did make a little list of family people but after looking at the pictures i said ooh i wanted this and that. it would be a great idea for all you remaining brides to do that. look at other people's albums to get an idea of what photo's, i wouldn't change who did my photo's i just would have invested more time and making a detailed list of pictures.. good luck

Do you know me? I think it's wonderful that people agree and disagree on this board, after all it's difference of opinions that make it so successful. If you did not like my opinion, all you had to do was say so. After 7 happy years of entertaining, the first time I get knocked, it;s by someone I never met met...how disheartening.

I can understand why you are upset. When you have a moment, re-read Monica's original posting, then re-read mine and maybe my suggestions might make more sense.
