Hindu/Catholic Wedding

Helloooo there,

My Fiance is Guyanese but his religion is Hindu and my family is Catholic, we are looking to have both ceremony's but i'm going crazy thinking how to make this possible and still please everyone.

As for the hindu ceremony I've heard no meat is to be served, but me being Dominican/Italian my family will die if there's no meat!! anyone have any advice on this?

Im looking to have the Hindu Ceremony in a backyard setting and the Catholic Ceremony on the day of the reception hopefully at the same venue.

Any tips/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

RE:Hindu/Catholic Wedding

I'm  Guyanese Hindu and my husband is Puerto Rican Catholic.
We did Hindu wedding Saturday at a Mandir we told non Hindu guest what it was like that it was strictly vegetarian they had no problems with it.Its just 1 day they will live . They actually loved to see a hindu wedding since its completely different from what they were use too.

I did Catholic wedding at the venue before cocktail hour the day of my reception
It was a busy weekend cause i did all the Hindu traditions days before Hindu wedding.
