Is this tacky?

I made small cards that say "A favorite memory with _________". Then I left space for them to write. I only want to send them to immediate family and very close friends. I was to post them on a board at the hall next to a gift table for folks to read. Is this tacky to put it in the invitation envelope? It will match the invitation as far as having a Kim Anderson photo in the corner, but I'm not sure. On the very bottom of each slip, I put in a small font, "Please return with RSVP". Any feedback would be wonderful.

Thanks,

Kate, Can you tell me where you got those invitations. My fiance and I are planning on using a wedding invitation that has the whole "Kim Anderson" look with the little kids. Every card he's given me has been a Kim Anderson and he thought it would be kind of a symbol. (Isn't that cute?) Also, can you give me an idea of price. In response to your question, I think it's a way for your whole family to participate in a part of the wedding.

GOOD LUCK!

Hi Valerie: I bought my invitations at Party Hardy in Nesconset. Great Place. I paid 199.89 for 100 invitations. They are in the carlson craft books, which everyone carries. Do you live near Nesconset?

Apparently there is a resort on Negril, Jamaica called Swept Away. Our travel agent has recommended it. Does anyone know anything about this particular resort? The web page looks really nice.....

Kate, Unfortunately we live out of state and are doing all of our wedding planning long distance; either by phone or the WWW. We will only be up on LI 4-5 times before the wedding, so as you can imagine I have to squeeze all the things on my "list" on those trips. Our families live on the south shore of Nassau County and Nesconset is a hike, but if I can get a good deal, it's probably worth it. If anybody has any sugesstions on "Planning your entire wedding via the internet", or has any good websites for vendors, please let me know. It's hard to book vendors without actually meeting them or seeing exactly what I'm going to get.

Hi Valerie: You can get those invitations at any invitation place that sells Carlson Craft. Probably in your home town now. Just look for Carlson Craft Books. Birchcraft has them too.

Hope this helps! Stephanie, Classic Favors and Invitations
