MAC Eye Shadow/Burning Eyes

I am having a reaction to MAC eyeshadow. After I use it my lids burn and are very irritated. Has anyone else had this problem?

Do you know their return policy?

haven't had that problem with that specific eye shadow but with others (usually metallic/shimmery colors). However, I do know that if you bought it at the MAC store or Macy's and have the receipt and packaging they will give you a refund even though it's been used.

you are allergic to anything metallic.
I had a model who was allergic to MAC for this reason.
It's in their ingredients.
Try make up forever or Nars.
I used that on models without a reaction.

Totally agree with this! m u forever and Nars are super awesome products!

i'm allergic to all shades of pink. it's something in the dye they use. you could be allergic to just specific colors. maybe you can look into that.

to be honest... and this is soooooooo sad to have to admit....
something is happening with my eyelids and some of my mac eyeshadows. i hate to even say it bc i love their colors sooooo much!
the pink freeze and certain other colors cause my eyes to itch like hell and then they get inflamed soooo badly. it happend like 4 times and idk what it is. but i try to tell myself it isnt the pink freeze! haha!! i posted pics of it a while ago. it was soooo bad i couldnt even go to work a few days. it took days to go back to normal. and burned like hell.

I have worn MAC eyeshadow for many years, it wasn't until this year that my eyes have started burning so bad that it effects my vision.  I even have some burning the next day after wearing it.  I was wondering if their ingredients had changed since I had been using the shadow for years without any problems.  I'm going to try Nars as the previous poster suggested.  Unfortunately, cosmetic companies are not "policed" on the ingredients they choose to use, no telling what chemical is in the shadow!

Good to know. I have consider Mac but I tend to use natural lines like they have at whole foods.  This makes sense
