Riviera Massapequa .. help!

Hello ladies.  I am almost in the nervous breakdown stage of my engagement and am looking for some help. I am so in love with Riviera Massapequa because the look of it is so different than every other cookie cutter wedding hall on Long Island and I have met with them a couple of times, each with different women. First time with Brittany who I loved and second time with Michelle, who was a little more cold and unwilling to really sell me on the place. I want to commit so bad, but I am getting a bunch of mixed reviews on the food. I totally understand that every person has different taste and if you put 20 people in a room, you're going to get 20 different opinions. I also feel like they were unwilling to throw anything in and really give me that little extra incentive.  If any of you can share with me your experience, if you had your weddings there or if you have met with them, I would be super grateful!!

RE:Riviera Massapequa .. help!

I know this is old but we just booked Riviera. The contract is pending a food tasting & if you try the food and aren't impressed you get the full deposit back.  Michelle was super helpful with us and worked with us to accommodate our budget.  I wouldn't say she is cold, but she's not going to be fake. She's extremely honest and that's what I very much appreciate about her.

RE:Riviera Massapequa .. help!

I ended up booking with Riviera only to cancel 3 months later because the lack of communication on Brittany's end is atrocious.  She is literally the worst person I have ever dealt with.

Oh wow, I'm sorry you had that experience. Michelle's been very helpful and I feel like we're in constant communication.
