You might want to look at the venue guide. I have been living on it!

RE:Unique Wedding Venues

What about the Botanical Gardens. Queens is the least expensive, followed by Brooklyn and then the NYC Gardens in the Bronx. Also the Venitian is undergoing renovations and is supposed to be pretty nice. I think wineries and Montauk are pretty unique. As is Mill Neck Manor (Elegant Affairs Catering) and Chelsea Mansion (a number of caterers including Elegant Affairs).

RE:Unique Wedding Venues

If I'm not mistaken, I believe all of those are too small except for the Botanical Gardens in the Bronx. We need a venue for 350+ guests.

RE:Unique Wedding Venues

We actually went there, but seated reception can hold only 300, standing reception is 350 lol. There is Oheka Castle of course, but the site fee is nuts.

I went to a wedding at Atlantis/Riverhead Aquarium. It was awesome. I believe it could hold a lot of people. The cocktail hour was in the aquarium. We were eating apps right by the shark tanks!
