Venue help!

Hi everyone!!
My name is Paige, I'm new to the site!
My fiancé and I got engaged 4/1/17 and are looking to have our wedding October 2019.
I've looked into many venues and I can't seem to find any that I like !!
I don't want the typical ballroom, my fiancé and I are looking for a rustic laid back theme.
My thoughts are with the three village inn. We're actually having our engagement party there this August !
I love the wood floors and the charm of the room.
Our guest list is about 200 people. I am afraid the room will be too small. It says capacity is 200(I know all 200 people will not attend).
We also do not want to break the bank!
Our engagement party is about 130.
I was just wondering if any of you have been to a wedding there? Or if you guys could give some in put on some other venues?
I also like captain bills the bayview house is beautiful but it doesn't give me that rustic feel.
I was also looking at the Milleridge Inn but I haven't heard great things.
I appreciate anyone's feed back, thank you :)

RE:Venue help!

The venue is the utmost importance while planning a wedding. It is very important to choose the right venue which has the space and facilities you need. If the space is too small everyone will be cramped and the space can quickly become hot, stuffy and uncomfortable. There are plenty of venue options, one can view online for various types of celebrations and parties depending on the number of guests and budget.

RE:Venue help!

Try The Riviera in Massapequa. It's a hidden gem. I wanted the rustic look as well and it's perfect there. One wedding at a time as well.

RE:Venue help!

Also try Land's End in Sayville, the Vanderbuilt Estate in Centerport or the Farming Museum in Queens County

RE:Venue help!

Ditto the Riviera. It has a great open layout, wooden details, and even though it's waterfront it isn't expensive. Unfortunately, most of the really rustic and incredible venues - Queens Farm, the Lloyd Harbor Historic Society, some of the great sites out east...are a fortune.
