engagement/shower restaurant or nice bar locations @ or under 35pp

Hello Brides/Grooms who are taking the lead as the bride, in search of a venue aka restaurant or upscale bar to host our "Wedding Shower" aka one party we are having in lieu of an engagement party and to solve the gender issue of a traditional shower.

all suggestions welcome especially ones where you have had parties before and loved it. Under 35 pp?

great food is a must and an open floor plan, planning on 80 to 100 peeps.

Not sure how far you would like to travel but its over the whitestone bridge...i def recommend zuppa in yonkers. it's a stone throw away to the water with valet parking.  They have a room for 75+ people and the food and service is amazinggggggggggggggg!!! Their steak and salmon are top choices.  I paid for my rehearsal dinner 28pp in 2016 so it may be a little bit more now...def check it out....we recently returned and they made us feel like home.

District social in NYC is amazing!  Beautiful, great food, staff and atmosphere
