Michael's

I've heard Michael's mentioned often on this board. Can someone tell me where it is? I'd love to go check it out for favor ideas! Thanks!

I am also looking for a veil myself. Please let me know if you find a reasonable place to buy one. Let's hope that our weddings are okay at the Swan Club. Dan is also my manager and I really like it, he is very nice.

Thanks and good luck!

Michael's

I think you're talking about Michaels craft stores. The one I know is in Levittown on Hempstead Tpke in the Old Navy Shopping Center. Then I know there is one by the Smith Haven Mall. Go onto their website also (it may be www.michaels.com, if not try searching for Michaels) because their website also has alot of craft ideas and will also have a store locator. They probably have a 800 # also for store info. Good Luck!

Michael's

Hi Teresa: There is also a Michael's store in Patchogue in the Gateway shopping center (on Sunrise Hwy) Good Luck with your wedding plans!

Daisy mums are very hardy(healthy) year round and do just fine out of water for the day, if, they have been drinking water undisturbed for at least 24 hours. I give you this info just in case you are doing the flowers yourself. If you are getting married in late May-June, Marguerite Daisies are in Season. This is the traditional daisy, with fern like greens and only 12"-18" in height. You see these sold at farm stands (in season) in big bunches of 25 stems. They smell really bad(it dissipates) but they are very petite and cute.

On "A Wedding Story" yesterday(1/3/00) they had a wedding party making their own nosegays of all daisies tied with ribbon. It looked great! Good Luck!
