Re: The Allegria Hotel at Long Beach

I'm not sure if someone posted the link to my review (didn't click on the link but I presume it was mine) but I cannot say enough horrible things about their lack of professionalism. I'll tell anyone who will listen.

FM me if you want.

Re: The Allegria Hotel at Long Beach

Two of my mom's friends had there daughters wedding there...they were very disappointed with the food and the guests were dancing by the tables because the dance floor was tiny.

They actually told my mom not to look there with me.

Re: The Allegria Hotel at Long Beach

I had my wedding there in December, and it was AMAZING!!
We had 185, and the room was big enough for that, but I wouldn't go much larger then that. We had plenty of room for dancing...and even had an entire bagpipeband there.

The food was amazing as well. When we went for our tasting, we were able to change around what we wanted, so we made some of the more eclectic dishes more traditional, and everyone raved about the food.
If anyone has questions, feel free to contact me! I will be posting my full review in a few days (when I can figure out how to get the pictures up!)

Re: The Allegria Hotel at Long Beach

OK, so I had my wedding at the Allegria hotel a few weeks ago and it wasn't good. Way too expesive for such a poor quality of service. The event staff was extremely difficult to work with and not responsive. The hotel rooms that the guests stayed in after traveling all over the country to get there were in such poor conditions...people didn't even have toilet paper or AC working. Please think long and hard before spending your or your parents hard earned money at this establishment.

The Allegria Hotel at Long Beach

My guest stayed there after my wedding at Bridgeview (which was amazing by the way) and every single one had a complaint. No working TV, the computer system was down so numerous people walked into rooms that were already occupied, my mom walked Into someone is the shower!! We had about 20 rooms filled and it was in March so not prime season and they couldn't get it right. Numerous guest didn't receive the hotel bags I made so I called and said I would like the bags that weren't given back, being that I paid for it and when I went to pick it up I got a plastic bag with snacks I didn't even provide. My husband was so mad he was hungry and wantd to order room service at like 2 am, they say they have 24 hr room service and no one answered the phone so he went downstairs to the lobby and stood there for 20 minutes until someone finally came out from the back. Unacceptable. I live in Long Beach and they try to portray themselves as so high class but it's not the case. I was truly disappointed and will never recommend anyone to stay there. Oh and I also know they can't pay there bills, let's just say I work for the company where they owe us a lot of money!!
